Pixar enters the Great Illuminary — now in Japanese!
Released in May 8, 2026 as part of Lorcana's second year in Japan, Takara Tomy's print of Wilds Unknown marks the moment the Japanese line caught up with the global schedule — and brings Toy Story into Lorcana for the first time. The Epic and Iconic rarities debut in Japanese, headlined by the two grail chases Buzz Lightyear – Jungle Ranger (241/204) and Merida – Formidable Archer (242/204) in the Art Nouveau-inspired "Lore Nouveau" style — the rarest pulls in the set at roughly one per case. With Japanese First Chapter Enchanteds already commanding massive premiums over their English counterparts, early Japanese prints are ones to watch.
